The huge monster rotating bearings

In Schweinfurt, August 29, 2008. The two Normal spherical plain bearings in fact is nothing special,except its unordinary size, external diameters 3200 mm, 2600 mm inner hole, ring width of 630 mm.

  Each bearing are connected with 118 rollers, each weighing almost 20 kilograms.
A total of nearly 11 tons of steel insert each bearing,which can be very appropriate to call  the Huge Monster Rotating bearings. Soon the huge monster will start the service in 108 meters above the ground,new Beijing Ferris wheel is a 208 meter high - this huge monster just like two huge bearing rotating around it.

  The ferris wheel design can accommodate 1920 tourists, 20 minutes of air travel to watch the beautiful scenery of Beijing .
